Albizu University and Sociedad Interamericana de Psicología (Interamerican Society of Psychology / SIP) welcome international neuropsychologists, psychologists, and mental health professionals to the Albizu Miami campus in Doral.

Participants will have the option of attending either virtually or in person. The event is free and open to the public.

    To register, visit https://conference2022.albizu.edu/

With a focus on neuropsychology and addiction training, the SIP Conference is designed to promote scientific exchange, facilitate collaboration, and encourage the sharing of research among professionals from North, South, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Former American Psychological Association (APA) President Antonio E. Puente, Ph.D. will be among the featured speakers who include APA International Affairs officials and Albizu University neuropsychology and psychology professors.

In his scheduled talk entitled “The Latinization of Clinical Neuropsychology,” Dr. Puente will present his own research on how psychology and neuropsychology are taught in the United States. He will also discuss how biological, psychological, and social factors impact health care across the Americas.

The Conference will include a question-and-answer session, along with a workshop to help attending students identify professional membership organizations that could enrich their respective academic experiences.
